Hugs for Heroes, Inc., is a non-profit organization founded in July 2004
to show support to U.S. troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- We are a 501(c)3 organization - which means all donations are tax-deductible.
- We different from other groups because we are 100% volunteer-run
- this means every penny you donate goes directly to purchase and ship items to our troops.
- Hugs for Heroes has no political affiliation - we are all about supporting
the troops.
As long as troops are in Iraq and Afghanistan, our simple goal remains to help as many troops as possible feel appreciation from
home in the form of notes and small items that can make the hardships they endure just a
little easier to bear.
While shipments of care packages to troops are ongoing, several large shipments a
year are planned.
